‘Gaurav Path’ to be built in the name of meritorious students of UP Board

April 27, 2023: With an aim to accord recognition to their achievements and encourage students to work hard, the state government would construct roads till the house of the meritorious students, who excelled in the 2023 UP Board’s High School and Intermediate examinations in state and name them after them. As part of the initiative, the road or street approaching the home or school of the examinee will be named after the meritorious students. The ‘Gaurav Path’ recognition would be accorded to top 20 meritorious students of Uttar Pradesh. Presently UP Board has released list of only the top 10 candidates of the state.

Results of UP Board’s High School and Intermediate 2022-23 were declared on April 25. On the other hand, the top ten list issued by the board included 179 high school and 253 intermediate candidates. Soon after the declaration of examination results, Board officials would hand over the list of top 20 top meritorious students to state government.

Post approval of the same, list of meritorious students hailing from different districts would be handed over to respective district administration for further action. The Public Works Department of the district would name the road after the name of the meritorious student.

18 meritorious students of Prayagraj in top 10 list of meritorious students

A total of 18 meritorious students of Prayagraj are included in the top 10 list of the state released by UP Board. These meritorious students of Sangam city include Manish Patel, Shivam Pandey, Vikas Chaudhary and Sana are from high school while Fauzia Naaz, Kartikeya Patel, Ayushi Singh, Harshita Yadav, Adarsh Tiwari, Anuj Singh, Nitin Tiwari, Shashank Yadav, Sonal Singh, Subhashna, Anuj Singh, Nandani, Ayush Mishra and Neha Yadav excelled in Intermediate examination of the Board.
