April 24, 2023: The 2023 High School and Intermediate examination results of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad also know as UP Board would be declared at Board’s headquarters in Prayagraj on April 25 at 1.30pm. The results post declaration by Board secretary Divyakant Shukla would be uploaded at UP Board website upmsp.edu.in.
Highest registration in the past 5 years
The 2023 UP Board examinations witnessed highest number of candidate registrations in the last 5 years. As per data made available by the Board, a total of 31.16 lakh candidates were registered for High School examinations while 27.69 lakh candidates were registered for Intermediate which is the highest count of candidates registered in last five years. Records revealed the number of registered candidates in 2022 was 27.20 lakh for High School exam and 24.10 lakh for Intermediate examination respectively.
Similarly in 2021, 29.82 lakh candidates were registered for High School exam and 26.10 lakh for Intermediate examination while in 2020, 27.72 lakh candidates were registered to take High School exam and 24.84 lakh for Intermediate examination.
Records further revealed, in 2019, 30.28 lakh candidates were registered for High School exam and 25.77 lakh candidates were registered to take UP Board’s Intermediate examination.

1.40 lakh examiners evaluate 3.19 crore answer sheets
The UP for its 2023 examinations roped in a total of 1.40 lakh examiners for evaluation of High School and Intermediate examination answer sheets at 258 evaluation centres including 89,698 examiners to evaluate about 1.86 crore high school exam answer sheets and 54,235 examiners to evaluate 1.33 crore intermediate answer sheets.
