Prime Minister Naredra Modi while addressing an august gathering of top notch business tycoons, intellectuals and dignitaries from different walks of life at the 2024 Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC) of 4th Global Investors Summit said that confidence in India had increased globally. India had changed the concept of investment.
India’s growth story finds acceptance globally
Today, he further mentioned, all over the world India was seen with exceptional positivity. Every country is confident and full of confidence in India’s growth story. Today a lot of discussion about Modi’s guarantee is on all over the country, but today the whole world is considering India as a guarantee of better returns.
UP stands out in many ways
PM Modi said that today UP was the state which had the highest count of expressways in the country. The state also has the distinction of having highest number of international airports in the country besides Uttar Pradesh also holds the tag of having country’s first rapid rail.
Explained social justice and true secularism to opposition
PM Modi also targeted opposition parties advocating social justice in the name of caste census and explained to them the meaning of true secularism and social justice. Modi termed the loans given on Modi’s guarantee to 75 percent of the street vendors benefited under PM Swanidhi Yojana to backward, Dalit and tribal families as social justice of Lohia and Jayaprakash Narayan. He said that lakhs of beneficiaries of UP have been connected to the schemes near their homes which was true secularism.
Meet future challenges with hope
The PM also gave a message to the youth to meet challenges of the future with hope and determination. He said that, seven years ago no one could have thought of investment and job environment in UP. But in seven years, investment worth lakhs of crores was coming on ground. The factories coming up in UP were set to change the picture of UP.
This will increase employment opportunities. Modi’s guarantee is that the government will not sit silent until every beneficiary gets his/her definite rights including free ration, free treatment, permanent house, electricity, water, gas connection, he added.
A move to give fuel to politics
Before the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi also tried to put different political parties in the dock including Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He linked the award of Bharat Ratna to Chaudhary Charan Singh with the respect of crores of farmers and laborers of the country.

At the ceremony, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the ground-breaking ceremony was being held here today as a result of the efforts made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the last 7 years for creating an investor-friendly environment in Uttar Pradesh. The way Uttar Pradesh is moving forward under the guidance of PM Modi and the leadership of CM Yogi, the ground-breaking ceremony will prove to be a path-breaking ceremony in the direction of bringing investment.
Taking a dig at grand old party of India he said that Congress tried to bargain with Chaudhary Charan Singh. Congress considers only one family to have the right on Bharat Ratna, hence Baba Saheb was not given Bharat Ratna for decades. Congress does not want to respect Dalits, poor, backward, farmers and laborers.
