In his address to the nation, PM Modi lauded the armed forces and intelligence agencies for successfully carrying out ‘Operation Sindoor’. PM Modi said, the weapons of Pakistani army were scattered like straws in front of the indomitable courage and bravery of Indian soldiers. He said, during Operation Sindoor, on one hand the army defeated Pakistan while on the other hand ‘Made in India’ weapons proved their mettle.
Salute to the armed forces – PM Modi
PM Modi said that first of all I salute India’s mighty armed forces, our intelligence agencies, our scientists. Our brave soldiers displayed immense bravery to achieve the goals of ‘Operation Sindoor’. He said the Indian forces accurately attacked the terrorist hideouts and their training centers in Pakistan. The terrorists had not even dreamt that India would ever take such a big decision, but when the country is united, it is filled with the spirit of Nation First and when nation reigns supreme, strong decisions are taken.

The Prime Minister said world saw how Pakistan’s drones, missiles were scattered like straws in front of India’s fire power. India’s strong air defence system destroyed them in the sky itself. Pakistan had prepared to attack on the border, but India attacked Pakistan on its chest. PM Modi said India’s drones, and missiles attacked with precision damaging airbases of Pakistani Air Force, which Pakistan boasted about.
India destroyed Pakistan to such an extent in first three days, which it never had imagined.
‘Time for Made in India Defence Equipment in 21st Century Warfare’
Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Friends! We defeated Pakistan every time on battlefield and this time ‘Operation Sindoor’ added a new dimension. We have displayed our capabilities in the desert and mountains. We have also proved our superiority in New Age Warfare. During this operation, the authenticity of our ‘Made in India’ weapons was proved.
Pahalgam terror, Operation Sindoor and Ceasefire
Just 15 days after the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, Indian Army destroyed nine terror hideouts in Pakistan and PoK under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7 eliminating terrorists. After Pakistan started targeting Indian cities, India’s Air Defence System foiled all the attacks and gave a befitting reply. India retaliated by destroying 14 Pakistani military bases. Frightened by this, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire to India, which was implemented by both the countries after mutual discussion.
10 satellites working round-the-clock to ensure India’s security: ISROchief
Meanwhile speaking at 5th Convocation ceremony of Central Agricultural University in Imphal, ISRO chairman V Narayanan said at least 10 satellites were working round-the-clock to ensure safety and security of India.
“If we have to ensure safety of our country, we have to serve through our satellites. We have to monitor our 7,000 km seashore areas. We have to monitor the entire Northern part continuously. Without satellite and drone technology, we can’t achieve that,” he added.
