Six time MP and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy has once again trained guns at Prime Minster Narendra Modi and Union Home minister Amit Shah saying that Modi and Shah would be subjected to treason crime over India-China Ladakh border row.
In a post on X Swamy wrote, “Let PM Modi and HM Shah know that when the truth comes out that China from April 2020 has grabbed 4046 sq kms of Undisputed Ladakh territory but the duo maintained ‘koi aaya nahin’ lie, they will be subject to treason crime.”
Earlier also criticizing the silene of PM Modi on the issue, the BJP leader had demanded severing India’s Ambassador-level relationship with China citing a news article which had reported that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) had entered at least 60 kilometers inside the Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh. Swamy wohad written on X, “Shall we declare Modi as betraying Bharat Mata’s honour? I demand breaking Ambassador level relationship with China.”
The veteran politician, last month had posted on X calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a coward. He had lashed out at PM Modi for being a coward when China grabbed over 4000 square kilometer of land in undisputed Ladhakh region. He also blamed Modi for not acting tough when Muslim leaders in Maldives had asked Indians to get out of the island besides failed to act appropriately when Muslims kicked out Bangladesh Lady PM.
Swamy’s post on X dated August 6, 2024 reads “Modi was a coward when China grabbed 4067 sq kms of India’s undisputed Ladakh territory. He wobbled when Maldives Muslim leaders said to Indians to get out of the island. Now Modi is shivering while the Muslims kicked out Bangladesh Lady PM. Don’t ask on Nepal. Ask Modi to quit.”
An ardent critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Swamy has failed to ignore any opportunity to attack the PM, be it faulty governance, India-China row, declining development growth or error prone approach to defend international borders.
He had even announced that if PM Modi did not relinquish his chair on his own, after attaining 75 years of age, he would be removed by other methods.
In his much circulated post on X, Swamy had wrote, “If Modi does not, as committed to RSS Pracharak’s sanskaar, announce his retiring to Marg Darshan Mandal after his 75 th year birthday on Sept 17 th, then he will lose his PM chair by other methods (sic).”
