Former Rajya Sabha MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian once again attacked the Prmie Minister Narendra Modi led government over the Chinese incursion issue and raised questions at government’s foreign policy.

Demanded ceasing of India’s Ambassador-level ties with China while citing a media report that claimed Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of entering nearly 60 kilometers inside Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh, quoting sources.

In a post on X Swamy wrote, “Shall we declare Modi as betraying Bharat Mata’s honour? I demand breaking Ambassador level relationship with China.”

It may be mentioned that Swamy has been training gun on PM Modi over the contentious issue of Chinese incursion for long. Last month also Swamy had lashed out at Modi government for not having been able to take a stand on the issue.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Swamy had shared an article by BLiTZ titled “‘Maldives Syndrome’ continues to silently spread in Bangladesh” and claimed that “Modi’s legacy would be neighbours working for India’s disintegration”.

‘Chinese troops occupying land the size of Delhi in Ladakh’: Rahul Gandhi

Also during an interaction at the National Press Club during his four-day visit to US, former Congress president and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that PM Narendra Modi hasn’t been able to handle China well at all.

He said, “If you call having Chinese troops in 4,000 sq km of our territory handling something well, then maybe… we have got Chinese troops occupying land the size of Delhi in Ladakh. I think that’s a disaster.”

Rahul Gandhi further said, “How would America react if a neighbour occupied 4,000 sq km of its territory? Would any president be able to get away with saying that he’s handled that well? So, I don’t think (PM) Modi handled China well at all. I think there’s no reason Chinese troops should be sitting in our territory,” the Congress MP said.
